BEKKO CANDY PROJECT

My dear friend Shoko started "BEKKO CANDY PROJECT".
I am joining this project to help support those who are affected by the earthquake in Japan. We will be selling BEKKO CANDY at the salon shizen. Stop by to get your own! All proceeds will go to Japanese Red Cross.  If you would like to participate, or know anyone/business that could help us out with this project, please let me know.

If you wish to make a donation directly to Japanese Red Cross Society, please visit their website. http://www.jrc.or.jp/english/relief/l4/Vcms4_00002070.html You can also make a donation to American Red Cross: visithttp://www.redcross.org/ and select Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami, or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

Bilbao

I went to Spain to work on a Japanese magazine this February. I had made plans for my trip to Spain but I didn't get a chance that time. Finally I saw The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao that was designed by Frank O. Gehry. There are pros and cons of his creation. I like seeing architectures but I am not a professional architect.  I take an objective view so his creation just gave me courage. I also saw a creation of Richard Serra in this museum. I have seen his work many times but I realized then for the first time that I feel an echo when I walk through these sculptures. I thought that I want to create something.
